Friday 7th October saw boys in Year 7 make an early start as they set off on a day trip to Boulogne-sur-Mer on France’s north coast.
Having crossed the Channel, the first stop was Nausicaa Museum, one of France’s most popular aquariums, where the boys saw many aquatic creatures of all sizes. The early start had worked up quite an appetite so the boys were delighted to head for lunch next in the Old Town at a restaurant called Le Parisien.
Before boarding the ferry home, the boys were afforded the opportunity to stop off at a supermarket to buy souvenirs and gifts for their families. The party returned to school at 9:30pm, tired but satisfied with a very enjoyable day.
