ADMISSIONS
1. Firstly,
if you are interested in Homefield School for your son, we would encourage you
to come and visit us to experience a normal working day at Homefield for
yourself. There are two ways of doing
this; come along to our next Open Day (please see below for details), or
arrange an individual tour of the school with our registrar, Miss Jessica
Atkins.
2. Registration
The next step is to register your son with us.
Please complete and return the Registration Form.
There is a registration and assessment fee of £60, payable by cheque to ‘Homefield
School’ or by bank transfer using the following details:
Bank: Lloyds TSB, High Street Sutton
Sort Code: 30-98-36
Account No.: 00249001
N.B. Please put your son's name as a payment reference
3. Assessment
Next step: your son will be assessed with us.
For your reassurance, we do not
seek to make the assessments competitive and they do not require any advance
preparation. The primary purpose of the assessment is to ensure that
children will be comfortable once they have started at Homefield.
Your son can be assessed with us
from his 2nd birthday. For
Nursery and Reception entry, the assessment takes the form of a play session
and will last up to half an hour. For
entry into the Junior Department (Years 1-3), the assessment will last about an
hour, and for the Senior Department (Years 4-8), assessment lasts an hour and a
half.
4. Offer
Providing your son meets
our entrance criteria, an offer of a
place for him will then be made. On
acceptance of this offer, we ask for a deposit of £350. This acceptance fee is non-refundable if your
son subsequently does not join Homefield.
However, this sum will be returned to you at the end of your son’s last term at the school after
outstanding expenses have been cleared.
