We feel that it is of the utmost importance that the boys at Homefield Prep are able to develop a keen sense of civic responsibility and are encouraged to help others in the community. Consequently the boys and staff take part in a very wide range of charitable fund-raising activities. Charities to be supported are chosen by the Student Council and we also contribute to international emergency appeals. In addition we are keen to extend our positive influence across the wider educational community and support other schools with our expertise and facilities.

Boys in Reception and Years 1 & 2 raise money for the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity as a long-term commitment.

The boys perform for a variety of charitable institutions such as the Star and Garter Home and we organise events to raise money for the Children’s Trust in Tadworth.

The boys and staff have also supported the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and the Sutton Foodbank.
Movember OctobeardFest

Our male staff members have demonstrated the need for civic responsibility and helped to raise awareness of men’s health. Homefield Preparatory School collected money to support vital research into prostate cancer by the growth of lots of facial hair for OctoBeardFest and Movember.
