We are delighted that you are considering Homefield for your son at 7+, 8+ or 9+.
Homefield welcomes boys from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds, and we value the unique contribution each child brings to our community. Our assessment days give boys the chance to experience our warm environment, explore our broad and vibrant curriculum, and allow us to understand their individual strengths and potential.

To help you plan, we have outlined the key dates and requirements for 7+, 8+ and 9+ entry below.
Key Dates

Registration deadline: Thursday 12th February 2026

7+, 8+ and 9+ Assessment Day: Wednesday 25th February 2026 (9.00am – 12.00pm)

Offer notification: Within two weeks of the assessment

Acceptance deadline: Wednesday 25th March 2026* (with deposit and signed Terms & Conditions)
*If joining in the Summer Term 2026, please accept by Wednesday 18th March 2026.

Boys have an excellent teacher to pupil ratio and benefit from small class sizes, with a teaching assistant working in each year group.
The ambitious, yet inclusive, environment and the focus on self-motivation prepares pupils effectively and successfully to sit assessment tests for entrance into a range of selective senior schools.
