Wraparound School Care
We appreciate how important wraparound care is for our busy parents. Homefield are now offering in-house Breakfast Club and Morning Multisports and Activities Club. Orchard Childcare, an external provider, offers fun afterschool childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment at Homefield Prep.
Breakfast Club and Morning Multisports and Activities Club
Our in-house Breakfast Club and Morning Multisports and Activities Club can be booked via our club booking system, School Cloud.
Our Front Office staff are unable to place bookings at Breakfast Club for you. This must be done directly via the School Cloud system.
Before school wraparound care is provided by Homefield School staff, in the form of two options:
- 7:15am until the start of school - 'Breakfast Club'. Breakfast is provided by our catering staff and pupils will also participate in sports and activities. There is a £5 charge for Breakfast Club.
- 7:30am until the start of school - 'Morning Sports and Activities Club'. Pupils will participate in sports and activities, but breakfast is not provided. There is no charge for Morning Sports and Activities Club.
We understand there are times when before school childcare may be required at short notice. Pupils who have not been booked online will be able to join Breakfast Club (£5) or Morning Multisports Club (free) on the day in these instances.
Sports and activities will vary daily, but will include football, badminton, table tennis, cricket, tag rugby, hockey, basketball, dodgeball and a range of board games, card games and construction activities.
Orchard Childcare
Their qualified staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level, first aid qualified and experienced and passionate about the activities they offer.

- Corporate childcare vouchers accepted and tax-free childcare available for block bookings.
After school wraparound care is provided by Orchard Childcare, an external company, from the end of the school day until 6:00pm. Parents should register online, and then pre-book directly through Orchard Childcare. We also have an extensive range of after school clubs, comprising complimentary staff-run clubs and chargeable peri-run clubs.
We understand there are times when after school childcare may be required at short notice. If you are running late, or there is a sudden need for childcare, pupils who are registered online with Orchard Childcare will be able to attend without prior booking and will be charged retrospectively. However, Orchard Childcare will not be able to care for pupils who have not been registered online. In these instances, parents will be charged an incremental late collection fee by the school at a higher cost than Orchard Childcare. Therefore, we recommend all parents register online with Orchard Childcare. This way, in the event of short-notice childcare, boys can be looked after by Orchard Childcare at a lower cost than the school's late collection fee. Please note that Orchard Childcare has an additional fee for late collections of £1 per minute, for every minute after 6:00pm.
