Scholarships & Bursaries

Scholarships

Scholarships at Homefield celebrate outstanding attainment and progress. These are granted annually, on the basis of internal assessments and a collective review from the entire academic team. We offer 4 scholarships per year, one for each of our ‘Houses’, for a boy, in the Upper School who epitomises attainment and effort across the curriculum. The recipient is awarded a prize and their name is then placed on one of our historic Honours Boards.

Bursaries

Our governors are committed to supporting eligible parents/guardians by means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees. Such support is known as a bursary and these may be awarded in the form of an agreed percentage discount on tuition fees payable, depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.

Bursary awards are subject to repeat testing of parental means each year and may be varied upwards or downwards, depending on parental circumstances.

Awards are made on the basis of the parents’ ability to pay using the letter of application, application form and financial declaration to assess the need and the consequent level of financial support required. Any award will take into account several factors including their income, savings, investments and other assets, any other persons dependent upon them and compassionate or other pertinent considerations.

Note: Your son will need to be registered, assessed and offered a place at Homefield Prep in order for you to apply.

In 2019 Homefield Prep, in partnership with Sutton Local Authority, designed a toolkit to help schools enrol Looked After Children, those in the care of local authorities, foster parents or living in residential homes. We support these placements as part of our charitable aims.
